It has been a long week but we are here at the track at last, the sun is shining that is a good sign.
Kris Walsh and Chris Ouelette passed me on the way up so they were here first, they spotted us a
parking spot , so now all we have to do is race, but me i forgot my helmet. ( REAL BRIGHT ) Now i have to borrow one,
so Jim and i ( Steve ) make a deal who ever gets up first will use his helmet.
Jim is first up ,he goes on to the burn out pad he trys to do a burn out but his car just twists ,then he pulls
up to the tree the tree comes down and he's off up the 1/4 but his 1966 chevelle does not agree its all over the place,Jim
has to back out of it but not before he takes out his own back window, the car twisted that one more time and out poped
the back window.that run gave him an ET of 13:29 he later went 11:20 @ 110 mph . now me thats another story .i pulled
my 1991 chevy shorty on to the burn out pad and lit it up a little, i did not want to over heat my tires
so i pulled up to the tree and staged in, next lane over was a honda civ i did not want to get beat by that it was not
even a nice one, light turns green and i am going up the 1/4 and the honda is leaving me behind so i spun a little ill catch
him !!(wrong) i cant stop spinning i let out did what i thought was best but could not catch him , the honda ran
ET of 15s and i was in the 17s i later ran a ET of 12:25 @113 mph (needless to say i put on some slicks) now the 12:25
that i ran was not good enough to get by Bills Z28 that ran a consistent 12:20s and Bill was happy that i could not
get by .
Bill ran his car all day the next day @ 12 20s good working car
